A man was arrested for stealing women's knickers.
Knicker thief turned in by own mother
The 26-year-old male - who hasn't been named for legal reasons - was caught by police in the city of Fukuoka in Japan allegedly pinching four pairs of panties from a launderette on CCTV.
Website Japan Kyo reports that the underwear was worth $174 and was taken from a tumble dryer at 1.30am on December 13.
The accused then admitted to his involvement in the theft and ended up handing back a dozen pairs of pants after being turned in by his own mother.
According to the publication, she told police: ''They were in my son's room.''
He then admitted to having an obsession with women's underwear, simply saying: ''I like women's underwear.''
