Man accidentally flies to Spain on girlfriend's passport
A man accidentally flew to Spain using his girlfriend's passport.
''Me and my mates were joking about our bad passport pictures and they looked at mine and said 'Neil, you're much better looking in this picture than in real life'.''
Neil Clulow - who is bald and has a long beard - from the West Midlands, England, only noticed he had flown to Alicante, southern Spain using his blonde partner Karen Clift's travel documents after arriving at his destination.
Mr Clulow, 50, was shocked to find a picture of his girlfriend when his friends began comparing their passport photos, The Express newspaper reports.
He said: ''Me and my mates were joking about our bad passport pictures and they looked at mine and said 'Neil, you're much better looking in this picture than in real life'.''
Mr Clulow's own travel documents were quickly sent out to the destination and Monarch airlines - who failed to notice the mistake - offered to fly him back for free.
