Man finds snake on doorstep
A man found a snake on his doorstep.
''Anyone lost a snake? Found this feisty little guy on my front step this morning.''
Steve Berry was leaving his home in West Hampstead, London to head to work when he found the reptile curled up outside his front door.
Taking to social media to see whether the snake belonged to anyone, he wrote on Reddit: ''Anyone lost a snake? Found this feisty little guy on my front step this morning.''
However, neighbours alerted the police, who eventually took the corn snake to Harmsworth Animal Hospital, where the RSPCA is working to track its owner.
Mr. Berry told the Metro newspaper: ''It was fairly bright and hissing at us.
''The cops had a chuckle, and in the end a cop that had pet snaked came to check it before they took it.''
