Man suing hospital after waking up in women's pants

''The defendant's extreme and outrageous conduct went beyond all possible bounds of decency.''

A man is suing a hospital after waking up after an operation wearing women's underwear.

Andrew Walls claims that when the anaesthetic wore off after his bowel examination at the Delaware Surgery Centre, in the north-eastern United States, he was shocked to find he was wearing pink, lacy pants.

Mr. Walls' attorney told Delaware Online of the culprit who dressed him: ''The defendant's extreme and outrageous conduct went beyond all possible bounds of decency.''

He added: ''When the plaintiff recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia administered by defendants, he awoke to realise that while he was unconscious pink women's underwear had been place on his body.''
