A man drove for 40 miles with thousands of bees let loose in his truck after they escaped from their containers.
Wallace Leatherwood , a builder from North Carolina, is a keen beekeeper and after spending £122 per box of the honey-making insect, he wasn't ready to let them fly free before reaching his destination, but wasn't fazed by them swarming in the cab of his van.
He said: ''I didn't have any shady place to sit them, when I came out, (one of the boxes) was black with bees, and there were bees everywhere. I thought, well, I don't know what to do.
''I didn't want to lose my bees. They were $165 (£122) per box.''
And when he was stuck in traffic, he took the opportunity to record a video of the buzzing activity.
In the clip, which has gone viral, he jokes: ''The girls are out, we've got a problem. Houston, we have a problem!''
