A company named musicMagpie has appointed James Wannerton - who has neurological condition called Synaesthesia, which is a condition linking his senses together - to listen to some of UK's most-loved tracks and predict their tastes as part of their 'How Music Tastes' campaign.
The study has shown the man believes the 2015 hit single is associated with sweet tasting treats, whilst Calvin Harris' 'This Is What You Came For' shares the same flavour as chipolata sausages, bread-soaked in tomato soup, cucumber, pineapple and wafer biscuit.
And in another bizarre yet descriptive tasting comparison, he revealed he could taste a fat slice of marzipan, almond slices, a cold slice of ham, which had curled at the edges when he listened to Zayn Malik's 'Pillow Talk'.
