Workers at the Woodstock Arms pub in Oxfordshire and a number of their regulars - including 89-year-old Peter Adams - have even recorded a video for their version of 'Jingle Bells' and have vowed to donate £1,000 to AGE UK if they get 100,000 views.

Making a record was one of the items on Peter's bucket list.

He said: ''After all of the Queen's 90th celebrations, it got me thinking about my 90th Birthday next year. I'd heard of 'bucket lists' before and decided to make my own, even though I'm a long way from kicking the bucket.''

And if the festive single proves a hit, he's got other musical ventures up his sleeve.

He added: ''Also, Jingle Bells isn't the only song we've recorded, my album 'It's All Gone Pete's Song' will be ready early next year.''
