A British rugby player has turned gay after having a stroke.
Chris Birch - who was 19st - suffered the attack after an accident during training and when he woke up his sexuality had changed, so he lost eight stone and retrained to be a hairdresser.
The 26-year-old man - who now lives with his homosexual partner - had proposed to his girlfriend at the time before his stroke, which occurred when he was trying to impress his friends by doing a back flip but he ended up breaking his neck.
Chris told The Sun newspaper: "It sounds strange but when I came round I immediately felt different.
"I wasn't interested in women any more. I was definitely gay.
"I had never been attracted to a man before - I'd never even had any gay friends. But I didn't care about who I was before, I had to be true to my feelings."
