Sky Sports 5 has commissioned paintings of Ronaldo, Iniesta, Robben, Pirlo and Gerrard.

To celebrate the new channel - which begins broadcasting today - Sky Sports requested mimic John Myatt paint portraits of the famous faces in the style of the world's best-loved artists - which will be displayed at the Castle Fine Art gallery in Mayfair, London, from today(12.08.14) until September 12.

Liverpool FC's Steven Gerrard is painted in the style of Joshua Reynolds, FC Barcelona's Andrés Iniesta in the style of Picasso, Juventus FC's Andrea Pirlo in the style of da Vinci, FC Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben has been made into Van Gogh's Self Portrait, while Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo is painted in the style of Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro.

Starting with the UEFA Super Cup, Sky Sports 5 will screen up to 600 live European football matches featuring some of the best players, the best teams and best competition.
