Giant spiders are preparing to invade British homes.
The hot summer weather the United Kingdom has been experiencing is reported to have led to the growth of arachnids which are now preparing to invade homes, according to experts.
The University of Gloucestershire's Professor Adam Hart told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''This year has been seemingly a good one for the invertebrates which spiders feed on, and it's quite mild out there.
Insisting people have nothing to worry about, he added: ''They often feed on the most common species, preventing a few species from becoming dominant.
''We want to encourage people to respect and learn more about their little house guests.''
