Survey reveals festival goers only see a few hours sunlight

Typical festival goers only see five hours of sunlight a day.

''And in fact, many festival fans will even go as far as to say the rain and mud can help make a festival more memorable.''

Fun-seekers will also get lost three times and endure nine hours of rain, according to a survey conducted by Lucozade Energy.

The results also revealed that on average, festival fans will dance for three hours and 52 minutes per day before heading off to their tents at 2.38am.

Good friends, long days and lots of stars were the definite ingredients for the perfect festival experience.
