A teen took a cardboard cutout of Danny DeVito to her high school prom.
Pennsylvania student Allison Cross found herself without a date for the dance at Carlisle High School, and decided rather than settle for someone she didn't like, she'd go with a two-dimensional version of the 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia' star instead.
Speaking to Inside Edition, she said: ''It seems like all the good guys were taken and all the ones that weren't taken I wasn't really interested in until one day I had this idea.
''What if I just brought a cardboard cutout of Danny DeVito to prom?''
Although the prop cost her around $100 on Amazon, Allison loved the reaction to her hilarious stunt.
She joked: ''It was like having a paparazzi all around me. They were taking pictures of me the entire time I was in line. And trust me it was a long line. Everyone was staring at me and saying such nice things.''
