Teenager makes £45 million in lunch break

''What makes the world go round? Money. If money is not flowing, if businesses don't keep going there's no innovation, no products, no investments, no growth, no jobs.''

A teenager made £45 million during his school lunch break.

Mohammed Islam earned the huge amount after banking a ''high eight figure'' sum from his investments and share portfolio and has already splashed the cash on a top of the range BMW car, despite not yet having his driving license, and a plush apartment.

He told the New York magazine: ''What makes the world go round? Money. If money is not flowing, if businesses don't keep going there's no innovation, no products, no investments, no growth, no jobs.''

The 17-year-old is now planning to start a hedge fund with other young entrepreneurs when he begins his university education next year.
