A giant crisp has been sold on eBay for £712.
The three inch Hula Hoop was being offered on the web market place for just £1 before bids shot up to £140 overnight with the final bid flying it just before the auction closed.
The crisp belongs to 31-year-old Stuart Hampton, an artist and musician from Manchester, north west England, who is struggling to believe that whopping bid is genuine, reports the Mirror newspaper.
He said: ''I can't be sure whether it's a genuine bid or not.''
