Tourist 'feels good to be free' after being trapped in shop

A tourist says it ''feels good to be free'' after being trapped in a bookstore overnight.

''I'm very tired. I did not sleep very much last night but it feels good to be free.''

David Willis was browsing the top floor of a Waterstone's shop in London, South East England, last night (16.10.14) and came downstairs to discover all of the staff had gone home and locked up for the night.

Mr. Willis - who is from Texas in the United States - took to social media in an attempt to be freed from the store and was let out two hours later.

Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain' today (17.10.14) he said: ''I'm very tired. I did not sleep very much last night but it feels good to be free.''

Explaining how he got locked in, he added: ''I did not realise what time they close. I walked right past employees ... when I walked downstairs all the lights were off.''
