The University of East Anglia has banned students from throwing their mortarboards in the air after their graduation.

The establishment made the decision after some graduates were injured by falling hats and students have now been told it could be added digitally to photographs for an extra charge, Sky News reports.
Penguin Photography said: ''As well as being safer, this will have the added advantage that even more of the students' faces will be seen in this photograph.''
