Wild deer crashed through restaurant window

A deer has crashed through a restaurant window.

''I never expected to see a deer on the video footage.''

The animal dodged traffic in Glasgow city centre before crashing through a restaurant window in broad daylight, and now the restaurant boss has to foot the bill.

According to The Daily Mirror newspaper, Hayder Kupeli, only realised it was a wild deer when he checked CCTV after the incident.

He admitted that his family thought it was a joke, and said: ''I never expected to see a deer on the video footage.''

The 40-year-old has now been faced with a £500 bill to fix the windows of the Kervan Palace restaurant.

He said: ''The insurance company told me to ring the police to get a crime number. I spoke to an officer and she said it wasn't a crime.''
