A woman in China accidentally flusher her baby away after giving birth in a toilet.
Rescue workers ripped out the toilet in Zhaoyang District, Beijing, and cracked pipes as they rushed to find the newborn little one, who was eventually located 15 minutes later.
Firefighters tore up tiled flooring in the hunt for the tot, who is currently in a critical condition in hospital.
According to eye witnesses, the woman had entered the toilet cubicle after asking her husband to wait outside.
A similar incident occurred to a mother in 2006 and her baby made a full recovery.
