Woman finds dead mouse in cereal box

A woman found a dead mouse in a box of cereal.

''It's put me off buying any Crunchy Nut ever again.''

Pauline Henderson, 50, was pouring a bowl of newly-opened Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for her grandson Toby when the rodent's lifeless body dropped into the bowl and lay dead among the cereal.

Luckily Mrs. Henderson managed to warn the two-year-old before he began tucking in, but she insists she won't be buying the brand ever again.

She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''Goodness knows how long the mouse was in the box or if it was dead or alive when it went in.

''I have put the box and the mouse in the freezer for now because I want environmental health or Kellogg's to come and look at it.
