Marie Seggie ordered an ornate birthday cake to celebrate her daughter's 21st birthday, but a correction changing ''blond'' to ''blind'' in a text message to the baker ended with the treat featuring a figurine of a girl with a white stick instead.
Luckily, her daughter saw the funny side and her sister later posted a photo of the treat on Twitter, gaining thousands of retweets.
And despite the mix up Marie admitted the cake was ''delicious - and hilarious.''
