A woman has won £1,500 in a Best Loch Ness Monster Sighting of the Year photograph competition.

Rebecca Stewart of Lancashire won the competition and the lucrative cash prize with a picture she took while on holiday in the Highlands in October last year.
On the sighting of the world-famous monster, she explained: ''I saw something that was really strange - it was hard to tell on size, however birds would fly near it and (they) looked very small in comparison to the thing in the water.
''We were on the pier and the thing was over near what looks like a small boat house. Birds would fly near it and quickly fly away from it.''
