Dating Taboo’s – let’s break the norm: Day three

I can’t actually believe how many men are looking at my profile and winking at me, it is a real confidence booster and you don’t even have to let them know whether you’re interested or not…those lovely admin types send you an emal every time somone looks at your page, which means if you fancy a peek at theirs, you know that the feeling of nosy-ness is definatley mutual.

Anyway, to get down to business, I have been chatting with this one guy who seems pretty normal and actually makes me laugh, which is always a bonus, he seems genuine and not on of the sad, lonely seriel killers my friends had warned me about when I told them about my little project.

There are a few good looking ones there too, although I can’t help but think that these guys put up a REALLY flattering picture, or a picture of their mate! What’s really sad that the best of a bad bunch (lets be honest) rarely have the personality that the not-so attractive ones have.

Maybe the less-fortunate looking ones (to try and be politically correct) are the ones I should spend my time on, as they might actually have something interesting to say.

So, I’m going to try and give people a chance based on BOTH personality and looks rather than just dismissing the ones who I don’t find that good-looking.

About Ruth

Word up! I am the music editor at FemaleFirst.co.uk. My favourite bands are Nightwish, Biffy Clyro and A Day To Remember. I do have rather biglove for the Now Thats What I Call Music CD's though. Katie Price annoys me but I love how she's made a name for herself by being annoying. That takes some work.
