I’ve always loved shopping for vintage clothing or second hand cast-offs, whatever. The point is that you get something with a history behind it and you create a totally new look for yourself, without having the dreaded fear of seeing your best mate, or a complete stranger in the same outfit as you at a party or just walking down the street.
Well, it seems like vintage is finally getting fashionable (read here http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/lifestyle-fashion/styletrends/vintage-6096.html ) as people try to copy the Sienna or Kate’s ‘just thrown on’ look.
I’m a huge fan of anyone with some individual style, so for me I love Mary Kate Olsen and Fearne Cotton’s fashion sense, as they aren’t afraid to experiment. They are both big fans of vintage finds too, so you know you’re in good company, if you so choose to experience vintage shopping.
I’m already planning my next trip to bag some xmas bargains, and I’ll be guaranteed to be the only one wearing my dress come Christmas Day, that I’m certain of.
