I don’t know whether he was stoned, drunk, hungover or just pissed off that I had asked him how he could possibly be releasing a greatest hits when he’s only had like, one song. But either way, he didn’t win me over.
As you can see from his answers, getting a response from him was like trying to get blood out of a stone, but not just any stone, oh no, a stone that has been left in the desert, for a million years, in the baking hot sun, in an area when rain (or blood) has ever fallen. It made me want to cut my own ears off. Well almost.

Britney Oprah & Katy Perry. December 10, 2008

Oprah Winfrey wants Britney Spears on her show. Madonna loves working with Spears, and now fans have made the comeback pop princess’ new album, Circus, a hit.
So you’d think that fellow pop rocker Katy Perry would jump at the chance to work with Brit, right? Well, actually, no.
“She wouldn’t be the girl I would collaborate with necessarily,” Perry said Saturday at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball concert outside of L.A. “She’s not on the top of my list. There are other people I’d much rather work with first. I love John Legend’s record. So how about I collaborate with him?”
But Perry knows never to say never, explaining she needs some face time with Spears before making any final calls. “I work with people I love,” Perry said. “I only work with them if I love them. If we click, we click, but if we clash, we clash…So I’d have to see. I’d have to meet.”
Meanwhile, Perry is taking the high road when it comes to the Grammys after surprisingly receiving only one nomination: Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her megahit “I Kissed a Girl.” No doubt she should have also got nominations for Best New Artist and Record of the Year.
“This is my first year being up for nominations, so I’m just happy that I even got the one nod says a philological Perry, adding that itb was better than no nominations at all.

STOP RIGHT THERE….if you were getting baby congratulation cards for Janet Jackson as she’s now denying the rumours that she’s pregnant. I just wish she and Jermaine Dupri would make up their bloody minds… we’re going to find out in nine months anyway – when she’s the size of a small house.
We know that miss Britney Spears couldn’t keep up the angel act forever, and now it seems she’s pissed of PETA. Oh dear, not a wise move Britters!
It seems that if you want to get anywhere in Hollywood you have to turn gay: cue Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan; but no, its not another story about then rowing outside a London Hotel. This time it’s Aubrey O’Day who has decided to bat for the other team. I wonder how long that will last…. until her next single maybe?
British music has been saved! (Sorry if you’re one of our million USA readers!) but Blur are back! Woo Hoo, Damian Albarn and friends have packed up their guitars and are heading back out on the road to fix everything that even went wrong in music…. toot too, get me a ticket!
If you thought Take That fans were a little bit crazy, you will never guess who caused a musical riot in London yesterday… No it wasn’t Madonna or Justin Timberlake, it was The X Factor’s JLS. It’s like Abbamania all over again!
In other X Factor news; guess who Amy Winehouse has set her massive pupils on now; no it’s not Camden’s local drug dealer… but the X Factor’s cute little Eoghan Quigg. Let’s hope he doesn’t get dragged into the dark clutches of the troubled star… although it could make an interesting article.
