Friday From Ruth

We’re all getting in the Christmas spirit in the FemaleFirst office, so we thought we would spead the seasonal joy by letting you know that Mariah Carey has been crowned the Queen of Christmas songs. Great. I much prefer something a bit more upbeat…. not that I’m saying Mariah is the most boring woman on the planet or anything…

Dear oh dear, first he pisses me off by pretending to know Michael Jackson, but now Akon has gone and pleaded guilty to tossing a fan into the crowd at a recent concert. I always knew he was a tosser with those arms.

It would appear that Madonna just can’t do anything right this month; on Monday she was falling on her face during a show and today she is being forced to admit she lied about her divorce settlement with Guy Richie…. oh Madge, we thought better of you. Okay, I lied; no we didn’t.

As much as we love a good Hollywood break-up to make us feel better about being sand and lonely this Christmas, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have put on a wholly untied front amid rumours their marriage is in trouble. How sweet.

I think if you’re going to sue someone, you should do it right, and my word, Black Sabbath are certainly doing that; not by suing some bloke who put a track online, or someone who write nasty things about them… but Live Nation – the concert promoting giant; for selling their merchandise for them. Hum. How bizarre.

About Ruth

Word up! I am the music editor at FemaleFirst.co.uk. My favourite bands are Nightwish, Biffy Clyro and A Day To Remember. I do have rather biglove for the Now Thats What I Call Music CD's though. Katie Price annoys me but I love how she's made a name for herself by being annoying. That takes some work.
