The most exciting – and rather bizarre – news i have heard this week is that Lily Allen has lined herself up to be the new Dr Who’s assistant. But with super-fit Matt Smith as the new Doctor, I imagine the BBC can afford to scrimp on talent – that damned credit crunch!
I’m sure it’s not just me who thinks that Christina Aguilera has had more than her fair share of wardrobe malfunctions – what with the belly tops, the less-in-more approach and lately, the fifties-inspired efforts. But if you’re one of the few who actually think she’s pretty cool then Horrah! as she is working with Topshop to launch her own fashion line.
I must admit, one of my weird crushes is the womanising Gary Oldman, and as much as my mum would be disappointed in me for lusting after him, she will be relived to her that he’s now a married man – for the fourth time. Well, if you get it wrong once, try, try again eh Gary?
There was a bombshell dropped from the Metallica camp today as drummer Lars Ulrich announced plans to leave the group to join Deep Purple on tour. Let’s just hope he doesn’t make it a permanent vacation!
I’ve heard of protective parents, but Paris Hilton and Joel Madden’s baby Harlow is going to have the most trouble with uncle Benji Madden after he vowed to keep a shotgun for any potential suitors she might have. I hope he’ll grow out of that in 16 years time.
