Posted by Laura in : Fashion , add a commentThis piece of news cemented what I already thought, but could never really fully admit- Anna Wintour is god. I mean, for Obama to be considering her for a role in his new government Anna+Wintour-6739.html she seriously has to be a superhero or something!
The lady is feared in the fashion world, had a movie (reportedly of course) based around her and people actually command her respect, which is fair enough, but Obama is the most important man on the planet right now.
For her to hook up with him (professionally speaking of course) is a genius move on her part seeing as her run at Vogue may soon come to an end.
Think how much power she would have if she had an ‘official’ role, plus all those exclusive contacts in the fashion world… it’s a scary thought me thinks if this rumour turns out to be true!

I love a bit of a catfight, especially the one that’s raging between Michael Jackson and author Ian Halperin as Jacko denies that he has a terminal lung condition whilst Ian Halperin tells him to “prove it” by having a medical test. It’s crazy how bothered we are about Wacko’s medical situation, I mean, it’s never really been stable has it?
It’s great to know that you can act like the hardest rapper in the world, but when you get into a scuffle with the likes of T.I, your mummy is quick to give you a telling off. Naughty, naughty Jim Jones, I bet he is grounded for a least a month now!
Another thing that brightens up my day is when a celebrity bears the brunt of a public prank; they just can’t seem to take it on the chin like the rest of us… and most recently has been miss Britney Spears and the debacle with people hacking into her Twitter account and saying; ‘Hi Y’all! Brit Brit here, just wanted to update you all on the size of my vagina. It’s about four feet wide with razor sharp teeth.’ At four feet wide, I think Sticky Vicky better watch out!
I take back all I said about Celebrity Big Brother being for washed up, Z-List stars with no future ahead of them. Well at least, I take back the bit about no future as it looks like Mutya Buena is going to reap lots of rewards from being locked up with fellow has-been’s.
And finally, our thoughts are with John Travolta and his family today as they say their goodbyes at Jett Travolta’s funeral.
