Kate Winslet scored a sensational double victory at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles beating a host of Hollywood greats – Angelina, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep… to pick up two awards for best actress and best supporting actress in a motion picture. Nicola Clarke, Creative Colour Director for the John Frieda® brands and leading authority on blondes, was on set to ensure Kate looked her best on screen. Recently returned from working with her A-list client on the highly anticipated film: Revolutionary Road, Nicola Clarke gives the insider scoop on Winslet’s look: “Kate wanted her hair to be super blonde and obviously we had to keep the colour within the 1950’s period of Revolutionary Road. We decided to go for a cool soft champagne shade to keep the colour looking as natural as possible” Clad in a black, strapless gown that off-set her refreshingly cool-blonde tresses, Kate positively shone at the prestigious Awards Ceremony as she proved to have the Midas touch in this year’s Golden Globes.

We all know that Sacha Baron Cohen has never been the most politically correct bloke on the planet. This time he’s causing religious uproar because his new film has a gay black model called Jesus. I guess Sacha won’t be at the top of the Pope’s Christmas card list next year.

It seems that Katie Price is keen to push her garish style on to daughter Princess Tiaamii. The former glamour model has bought the 18 month old a pink Beetle for when she is old enough to drive. Jordan herself has described the car as “totally over the top” so we expect it to look like a Barbie has thrown up on it. Who said you can’t buy taste!

It’s not good news for High School Musical 3 as it leads the Razzie nominations, including a nod for worst film.

We can’t believe that Sam and Amanda have ended up in our best dressed list this week. Not that we have anything against them of course, but they are hardly known for their style are they? But they’ve done the impossible and become trendsetters, so well done girls!
