If ever Chris Brown was going to claim that he never laid a finger on Rihanna he’s screwed it up now by telling everyone that if she does press charges, he’s going to claim ’self-defence.’ What a silly, silly man.
George Clooney has a bit of a superstar tenant, David Beckham. Becks is house-sitting for Gorgeous George’s villa in Lake Como while the actor is shooting. David has spoken out about his admiration for George in the past saying “George is one of the most handsome men in the world” so we do hope he’s taking advantage and having a good snoop round his house now!
Who does Kanye West think he is? Storming into fashion week 25 seconds before the end of a show and demanding to be seated in the front row is just plain rude. He caused a poor PR person to burst into tears, spent one show snogging the face of his girlfriend and showed up late for Giles’ show. And this from the man who wants to be taken seriously as a fashion designer?
Samuel L Jackson is the coolest dude on the planet but he looks set to become immortalised in Marvel movie history as he signs a mammoth nine movie deal ti play Nick Fury.

Crikey, the whole Rihanna / Chris Brown debacle just keeps escalating! Now folk are saying that the pretty star is actually pregnant with the pair’s first baby! Looks like Chris Brown has more than just himself to think about now!
Kevin Federline is to launch a children’s clothing line. Forgive me if I don’t quite celebrate this news with an outburst of ‘wow really?!’ and proclaim him a genius. Britney Spears’ ex-hubby has had his fifteen minutes of fame…two years ago, time to crawl back into that hole where you came from I think K-Fed.
The sickeningly cute couple, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have got engaged but it isn’t all romance and flowers as Zac only did it to appease Vanessa’s mum. Mummy Hudgens didn’t approve of the couple living together without been married so Zac proposed. Well if there’s one reason to get married we’re not sure it’s to please someone else. Watch out Zac soon you’ll be popping out babies to keep the in-laws happy.
According to John Wilson who, for those who don’t know is the creator of the Razzies, the film industry is terrified of the alternate Oscars. But have you seen some of the shit churned out in the last twelve months? Movies like The Love Guru and The Hottie and the Nottie need to be made an example of, what drivel. And who told Paris Hilton she should try her hand at acting? They deserve to be shot!

The £18 Engagement Ring: Rated or Slated? February 26, 2009

When I think of my engagement ring (and believe me, it’s something I do often) I imagine it to be the most beautiful piece of jewellery I have ever looked at, with a sparkler the size of a fist. Ok, maybe not that big, but BIG.
Such dreams are unlikely to ever be fulfilled, unless I suddenly win the lottery, or by some miracle Tiffany’s have a closing down sale, so I was a little intrigued yesterday when I learned about the £18 engagement ring being released by M&S.
Good old M&S, always trying to look after the little guy and introducing credit crunch engagement rings into the mix. It can only be a good thing right?
Well, no actually. I was initially a little torn, because on the one hand it’s great for those who can’t afford any sort of ring right now, but on the other you’d be wearing a ring that isn’t unique and hasn’t been specifically picked for you and only you.
You’d see it sparkling on 50 other women in the store most likely, and feel a little deflated to say the least. Well, you would if you’re anything like me anyways! I want my princess ring and no amount of talk about a recession will ever convince me otherwise! I’m very stubborn like that…
I agree that weddings in general are far too overpriced these days, but a ring is something a bride-to-be should never ever have to compromise on- If you can’t afford it now, wait. It’s as simple as that.
Don’t get me wrong though, I’m not a total snob or whatever, this is just my take on the whole thing. Having seen the rings on offer from M&S, I have to admit I’m very impressed with what they’ve come up with, but they’re just not for me. I’d rather work three jobs and save up for three years to get my dream ring, but hey, that’s just me….

Is anyone else getting just a little bit bored about hearing about Chris Brown And Rihanna? Eek! No me neither! Hehe. in the latest news, those little scamps at TMZ have defended their decision to publish a photo of beaten Rihanna despite it being stolen from the local LAPD. Tut Tut.
After taking to the runway for a brief period last week, Lily Cole has decided her talents actually lie elsewhere and has returned to the humdrum life of being a student. The gorgeous supermodel headed back to Cambridge with all the other brain buffs this week, turning her back on the glamorous modelling lifestyle for the time being. Some girls don’t know they’re born!
It seems Britney Spears is determined to come back with a bang for her first tour in years as she will be sawn in half on stage in her Circus tour. Brit is working with magician Ed Alonzo on the show who insisted her involvement in the shows will be full on. he said: “If I do a trick, she doesn’t just hold the props, she’s actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up.” We’re sure Brit’s up for it, she got up to wilder antics during her breakdown.
It seems that having hottie Hugh Jackman singing and prancing about the stage increased the Oscar’s viewing figures on Sunday night. However it was only by four million so lets not get too excited, I would have tuned in just to watch the lovely Hugh.

Okay, so you might be forgiven for wondering just how the hell Jordan / Katie Price got herself an invite to the Oscars… Victoria Beckham certainly did; when she completely blanked the trashy fame seeker… we’re talking about Jordan there, not Vicky. Obviously.
Despite the fact that we all thought Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue wanted to pull each other’s hair extensions out during the last season of X Factor, it would seem that Cheryl won’t do another series of the show without her Aussie sidekick. Better the devil you know eh Cheryl?
It was only a couple of days ago that we told you that Paris Hilton was trying to win back ex-boyfriend Benji Madden but now it seems that she has set her sights on Twilight star Robert Pattinson. The heiress tracked poor Rob down at an Oscars party and after some “aggressive flirting” managed to have a private chat with him. Do we have a new celeb couple on our hands we wonder?
Seems that Kate Winslet is taking some of the Oscar glory which doesn’t quite belong to her. No, we’re not talking about her well-deserved, long time coming (yawn) Best Actress gong, but her choice of fashion gown for the ceremony. Kate went through three stylists before settling on her one shoulder wonder, so we can’t really keep referring to her as ‘normal’ now can we?!

ApparentlyKate Winslet doesn’t care about the criticism that she received due to her over the top, and frankly quite embarrassing, Golden Globe speech. She also wishes the UK was more like America well you know where you can sod off to!

The moment we have all been wafting for has finally come; Rihanna has spoken out about the whole Chris Brown beating affair. Well, sort of.
Nicole Richie will soon be more recognisable for her pregnant figure than her previous super skinny frame as she and boyfriend Benji Madden have announced they are expecting their second baby, just a year after daughter Harlow was born. Two babies in a year? Is Nicole going to be the next Angelina Jolie we wonder?
I love Vivienne Westwood. Not least because she refuses to conform to what the fashion world expects of her, but also because she picks unconventional people to be part of her fashion brand. First Pammie, now Jo Wood has strutted for ‘The Dame’ showing Ronnie Wood just what he is missing. You go girl!
It’s amazing Kate Winslet actually managed to hold herself together as she finally got her hands on an Oscar, and it’s not before time. The British flag was well and truly flying in Hollywood last night as Slumdog Millionaire dominated the 81st Academy Awards showing the yanks how it’s done.

Poor old Miley Cyrus… she meets a nice boy who she thinks she can confide in… and he goes and blabs everything to the press… bad news for Miley, great news for us!
Kate Winslet has broken the hearts of men across the globe by declaring she won’t appear naked on film again. She said: “”I don’t think I will get naked in a movie again. I can’t keep getting away with it and I don’t want to become ‘that actress who always gets her kit off’.” She has stripped in ten films so far but there won’t be a number eleven it seems. Boooooo.
It seems one actress has let the Hollywood beauty pressure get to her a little bit and gone back to her roots. Nicole Kidman was pictured posing for Vogue recently with newly dyed ginger locks, only months after she was savaged for showing her grey at a premiere. Why she felt the need not to go back to blonde though is beyond me, surely she’ll get criticised more for her Days of Thunder look revisited?!
But the Oscars aren’t the only awards being handed out today as the prestigious FemaleFirst Film Awards 2009 were also handed out this week check out the lucky and deserving winners.

Although we think our invite to the BRIT awards 2009 got lost in the post somewhere, we have this amazing video of the after party so that we can pretend we were there..
Paris Hilton seems to be regretting her decision to split up rocker Benji Madden and is desperate to win him back. The poor heiress was reportedly fuming when she saw Katy Perry snuggling up to Benji and has now had a change of heart over their split and is determined to win him back. We don’t think Katy will be too bothered about it as she has said the pair are just friends.
Oh Dear. Just when you though the world of fashion couldn’t get more buggered, someone has gone and linked the opening of London Fashion Week with some controversial slave labour research. We’re sure they didn’t intend to cast a shadow over the most important date in London’s social calender, because that would just be mean now wouldn’t it?
Tomorrow the biggest night on the film calander will go ahead as the Oscars roll into town. Will Slumdog triumph? Will Kate get snubbed read our predictions.

We’ve all been wondering if the rumours about Chris Brown beating girlfriend Rihanna are true, but judging by these pictures; I think we finally have our answer.
It seems Cheryl Cole isn’t happy at all about suggestions Girls Aloud are to split up as the singer stormed out of an interview when asked about her solo plans. Cheryl apparently told the interviewer: “Why are you asking a question like that? We have just won this award voted for by the public. That’s ridiculous. You ruined the moment”. She then walked out taking the rest of the girls with her. Well at least we’re assured they won’t be splitting anytime soon!
Why Jennifer Lopez feels the need to share her Oscar fashion opinions with the world is beyond me. The sometimes singer, sometimes actress, sometimes perfume lady has spoken about the recession and said it won’t make the blindest bit of difference to Hollywood’s mega stars. Nice.
It seems that Kate Winslet wasn’t the first choice for the role Hanna, the studio instead favouring the over-rated Nicole Kidman… madness. However it looks like a Holocaust movie will grab Kate the Oscar, go watch Extras.

Wow, so the LAPD aren’t doing a very good job at the moment are they after some naughty little policeman leaked this picture of Rihanna post-Chris Brown attack…
I know she looks a state, but should we really be hunting Mr Brown with pitch forks before Rihanna actually speaks out… we don’t know for sure what’s gone on really, despite Rosanne Barr mouthing off every five minutes – just who is she?
To be honest, she does look shocking, but I think if I was in hospital and had my picture taken with no make-up on and a crazy flash, I too would look like shit.
What do you think boys and girls… is Chris Brown guilty? One this is for sure… his career is in tatters now…
It’s a shame ‘Innocent until proven guilty” is just an empty saying really. The joys of the US legal system.
