Ruth’s Wednesday Revelations February 25, 2009

Okay, so you might be forgiven for wondering just how the hell Jordan / Katie Price got herself an invite to the Oscars… Victoria Beckham certainly did; when she completely blanked the trashy fame seeker… we’re talking about Jordan there, not Vicky. Obviously.

Despite the fact that we all thought Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue wanted to pull each other’s hair extensions out during the last season of X Factor, it would seem that Cheryl won’t do another series of the show without her Aussie sidekick. Better the devil you know eh Cheryl?

It was only a couple of days ago that we told you that Paris Hilton was trying to win back ex-boyfriend Benji Madden but now it seems that she has set her sights on Twilight star Robert Pattinson. The heiress tracked poor Rob down at an Oscars party and after some “aggressive flirting” managed to have a private chat with him. Do we have a new celeb couple on our hands we wonder?

Seems that Kate Winslet is taking some of the Oscar glory which doesn’t quite belong to her. No, we’re not talking about her well-deserved, long time coming (yawn) Best Actress gong, but her choice of fashion gown for the ceremony. Kate went through three stylists before settling on her one shoulder wonder, so we can’t really keep referring to her as ‘normal’ now can we?!

ApparentlyKate Winslet doesn’t care about the criticism that she received due to her over the top, and frankly quite embarrassing, Golden Globe speech. She also wishes the UK was more like America well you know where you can sod off to!
