You may have noticed that I have a bit of a thing for Gossip Girl, in fact it’s bordering on obsession at times, but since it’s part of my fabulous job to report on all the fashion for the show, I think my obsession is totally justified.

Anyways, in my quest to report all the latest fashion gossip from the show, It’s been hard not to take notice of 15-year-old Taylor Momsen, who has been rocking the punk look now since late last year.

Considering we’re waaay behind here in the UK, Taylor’s new look only got its debut last week on the show, but she herself has been sporting her grown up ‘bangs’ for ages and has become a total style hottie in the U.S.

We noticed her new look when she was out and about of course, but it was seeing her on screen as Jenny that really made us sit up and take notice, particularly in last night’s episode, There Might Be Blood.

While I really hated her racoon made-up eyes, I’m loving the new Jenny’s wardrobe. Punky, quirky and rebellious- all the things that Jenny will become over the next few episodes (trust me, I have insider knowledge!)

Taylor’s style off-screen has continued to amaze me too, as she looks so much older than her 15 years, which can at times be a tad disturbing, but most of the time it just makes me wish I’d had a stylist at that age. I could of avoided the chavvy tracksuits, pulled back hair and orange face for starters…

Anyway, we earmarked Taylor as a one to watch from the very beginning when she was all sweetness and light on the show, and now she’s growing up, she may well eclipse Leighton (Blair) and Blake (Serena) as the new Style Queen of the Upper East Side.
