Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has been speaking out about other celebrity ‘designers’ and they overpriced clothes and we couldn’t agree more!

Fergie was talking while promoting her own shoe range, which is more reasonably priced than other she says:  “I would feel really irresponsible right now to have a line that was completely out of my fans’ price range.”

We couldn’t agree more. Let’s face it, it’s not really hardcore fashionistas who want to snap up clothes by the likes of Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton and Avril Lavigne but their young fans who’s budget is not gonna stretch into the hundreds of pounds they will need to indulge in these trends.

There are one-off’s whose collections do sell despite their high prices, Victoria Beckham’s collection for instance, but in times like these the prices should be a little more realistic. But Victoria’s denim collection was not as successful and did end up in bargain bins around America.

And if Lauren Conrad had realised this earlier she wouldn’t have had to scrap her fashion range.

Let’s see if Fergie’s words will rub off on any other stars!
