Lady GaGa – Love Or Loathe? March 30, 2009
Posted by Ruth in : Music, Ruth's Ramblings , trackbackNow I know that everyone seems to be taking a shot at Lady Gaga at the moment, so as an informed music-ista I think it’s about time I have a good old say on the matter in hand.
First of all I must point out that I am very, very cross with Mr Alan Donohoe (that’s the frontman of The Rakes for you who haven’t actually heard of him and wonder why the HELL… he is slagging people off)
Anyway, he’s been gobbing off calling Lady Gaga a prostitute and even saying her hates her, errr, do you even know her Alan love? If not, here’s a handy hint… don’t go round saying you hate people you don’t even know because you might just end up marrying them.
He said, “I can’t stand Lady GaGa. She is basically selling crap to kids. I think she’s terrible and really ugly. I hate her. Leona Lewis seems dull but nice. She has standards, nice skin and can sing. Whereas Lady GaGa is trash and dresses like a prostitute.”
For anyone who has actually seen said Rakes member, they will know that he isn’t really in a position to diss anyone’s looks, because let’s face it, he’s no Justin Timberlake. Oh and, he has an album to promote, so I bet he’s hoping his little outburst is going to grab him a headline or two… tutut, piggybacking off Lady Gaga’s fame… she should shake her ‘prostitute’ ass in your Poker Face.
We find it really sad when singers need to diss other musicians to get their names in print… Lady Gaga, FemaleFirst love’s you…. But what do you guys think? Let us know!!

Personally I don’t have much against Lady Gaga! Her style isn’t quite as dynamic as it could be, but it is fair as it is, anyway. And as for her fashion sense, it is…..unique; there are celebrities dressing alot trashier than her, and ones with much less talent. I think that, as you do, that Donohoe was just seeking attention by trash-talking her. Shame on him.

I disagree, Alan’s hot. Gaga’s trash and has no brain. I’m so sick of musiciain’s being nice to eachother, Donohoe was just telling the truth, damn site more interesting than the Leona Lewis “be nice to everyone” school if thought!! Nice one al. keep those sexy stage moves up!xxx
her tunes are catchy. I’ve had just dance in my head all morning. I don’t agree with her “fashion” though. I think she went more for shock value than actual style.
OK, seriously, this is the kind of ugliness that made the world the way it is today. Who the FUCK are you people to say such negative things about lady gaga? You seriously have no Goddamn life whatsoever if u can actually take the time to sit at your computer and trash-talk someone who is original, unique, fun and totally awesome!! Look at her, she obviously dresses the way she does bcuz she DOESN’T GIVE A FUCK what u people think or say about her. You have no right to judge someone based on the way they dress!! At least she’s different and doesn’t look like any of the OTHER celebrities out there. So instead of cutting on a woman you don’t even know, SHUT UR FUCKING MOUTH and do something constructive for a change.

she looks like cheap trash, yet i find her art so fulfilling how on earth did i fill my life before her music filled my senses, her look is so original.. and that really shocking way she kisses women in videos, so new so now… she is like a saint for 13 year old boys so they can freeze frame and masturbate and using crutches to aid her dancing… why didnt ordinary disabled people think of that… i have to sign off i just wish i had her as a piece of art that i could hang.
