We all know that Madonna is trying to get her hands on little Malawian boy Mercy James, and has been reported to have thrown a dive-style strop when her request was quashed by the Malawi government a couple of weeks ago.
In fact, the biological father of Malawian youngster Mercy decided it was time to wage a full-scale legal battle in the hope of regaining full custody of his young daughter; because he doesn’t think Madonna would be a good mother.
Okay, we do admit that we’ve never seen anything overly wrong with Lourdes (Madge’s ‘real’ daughter) but we are a little inclined to think children should be with their biological parents if they are decent enough people!
James Kambewa, who has never actually met Madonna, slammed the star’s “poor morals”, saying, “Madonna has millions, but that doesn’t make her a good mum. She doesn’t portray good morals. How can a woman of 50 dance almost naked on stage?” okay, so we see your point there; if my mum was cavorting around in leotards I would actually die of shame.
We know Madonna is used to getting everything she wants, but isn’t it about time she leave’s poor little Mercy James alone now? She’s had her adoption bid denied, now get over it…
The real question here is, do you think Madonna is using her fame in order to get what she wants? And if she was that keen on giving a child a good start in life, why doesn’t she adopt a child from America, I mean, they’re just a deserving as the help as Mercy James…?
What’s more, it’s sad to think that there are so many couples who would love a child more than the world itself who can’t adopt a child for whatever reason, it seems wholly unfair that fame can buy you children these days…
