But the Ironman star has bagged the role of the most famous literary sleuth, with Jude Law as his right hand man Watson.
In a dynamic new portrayal of Conan Doyle’s famous characters, Sherlock Holmes sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge.
Revealing fighting skilss as lethal as his legendary intellect Holmes will battle as never before to bring down a new nemesis and unravel a deadly plot that could destroy the country.

I can’t wait to see this movie! Robert Downey Jr. is such a talented actor.I have never seen him in a bad role. He is always impressive beyond words! So, I know Sherlock Holmes will be fantastic as well. You also can tell that he really got into shape for this movie-not just for the role but to look fantastic for his fans as well! Robert cares a great deal about every role that he plays and it is great that most of the impressive work he does he does for us, the fans. I always appreciate an actor so much more when they do their own stunts etc. and strive harder for the fans. It makes the work they do all the more quality. Robert Downey Jr. Is a great, naturally talented actor anyway I can’t immagine him failing. I saw The Soloist as well. His acting was the most original and quality work in the movie. However, it is hard for only one man to save a whole picture. If he coul’ve he would’ve. So, you go Robert-I know Sherlock Holmes will be a hit!!!!!!
