Russell Crowe Is Robin Hood June 3, 2009

Russell Crowe has taken on some great roles in his career including Officer Wendell “Bud” White, John Nash and of course Maximus Decimus Meridius, a role which won him an Oscar.

But the actor is teaming up with Ridley Scott together to bring yet another iconic character to the big screen… yes the Ozzie hardman is to play Robin Hood.

Despite the production facing several problems including being delayed by the writers strike filming is at last under way and here is the first image from the movie.
