I think I love Big Brother’s Halfwit June 22, 2009

I know you’re probably going to hate me for saying this, but you know, I’m becoming increasingly fond of Big Brother’s Halfwit / Freddie… and I just can’t keep a lid on it anymore.

When he first went into the house I thought he was pretty good-looking… I mean, I know he’s not a conventional ‘pretty boy’ like Kris or Rodrigo (who I wouldn’t kick out of bed in a hurry) but there’s just something about him that is really growing on me.

Whether it’s the way he tries so hard (and always fails) to fit in with the group, or the way the housemates make fun of him when he’s not around, but I just want to snuggling him up in my arms and take care of him!

I know I’d probably want to get away from him if I had to spend any long period of time with him, as I imagine he can get pretty tiresome with his posh boy ways and voice, but still I just think he’s lovely.

So come on, are there any other closet Halfwit lovers out there?

New Sherlock Holmes Posters June 22, 2009

There’s already excitement growing around the release of Sherlock Holmes, which sees Robert Downey Jr take the lead role as the infamous detective.

He is joined by British actor Jude Law in a film directed by Guy Ritichie, hot off the heels of the success of RocknRolla.

But unfortunatley there is still a good six month wait before the film hits cinemas in 26th December.

Susan Boyle has been in more newspapers than Lindsay Lohan recently, and I know it’s harsh, but I’m starting to wonder if all this acting up is just for attention? I hope not, but something doesn’t quite ring true anymore.

If you haven’t got into TV show The Wire then you really should consider investing some time into watching it as it really is the best cop drama to come out of the States. But with Ramon Rodriguez landing a part in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen it seems the show has been a major boost for all actors involved.

Our song of the week this week comes courtesy of those little foxes in 3OH!3. I first saw 3OH!3 on one of those Sky music channels when I was at my friends house, now I don’t have Sky, so watching music videos is something I rarely do, but when I saw these two barmy characters rocking out on screen it was love at first sight.
