I then sat agog, watching him achieve second place, I couldn’t understand the result but hey….I remained assured that I had witnessed the arrival of a true star onto the world platform, one to reach the heights…all in good time.

I then discovered that some sectors had ‘doubts’ about his sexuality throughout the contest. I was disappointed but not altogether surprised that an issue had even been made of it at all as it has no bearing what so ever on the contest criteria.

As for those who line up to ‘condem’ him over it ….. words fail me where this narrow minded biggots are concerned. They themselves pose the greatest risk to the younger generation’ spewing their vindictive, judgemental, ignorant bile.

With his immense talent and recent act of courage in relenting to the pressure of having to make his personal life public, success is his for the taking and I have no doubt that it has already begun!

First I would like to note that your english and grammar are excellent, something we don’t get much of anymore here in the Western Hemisphere.

I’ve heard comments by many Europeans that America is a ‘religeous’ country, actually it’s not really the case. One of our political parties uses religeous views, ones that are highly emotional such as Gay rights and abortion, in order to obtain votes. Sad, but true.
