Sree seems to be causing a lot of tension in the Big Brother house at the moment, and I mean come on, Big Brother 2009 hasn’t been as wild as some of the other ones, so this year everyone’s talking about the lovesick foreign housemate.
To be honest, I’ve been sick and tired of watching Sree’s cringe worthy advances onto fellow housemate Noirin and I wish she’d just tell him to get lost because he doesn’t have a cat in hell’s chance of pulling her… but what do you think.
Okay, so if I was in the house I’d probably want to have smacked him by now, and I’d do anything to avoid speaking to him as the things he come out with make me want to bang my head against the wall, but could it just be the way things are edited?
Watching the show last night, I was horrified at the way Marcus was speaking to him, and as much as Sree has been getting on my nerves, I can’t help but think Marcus and his little posse were bulling him, especially during the rehearsals for the task, where Marcus was constantly nit-picking over Sree’s dancing skills.
I know from experience that it can be annoying when someone doesn’t work well in a group, but the way that marcus was speaking to him last night I found completely sickening, and if I had been in Sree’s position I would have broken down in tears.
What was worst was when he was getting ready for bed and Cairon told him that he would only ever pull a; “Deaf or blind girl.†now, although that amused him and Siavash, I think it was one of the most insulting things I have ever heard on that show, and an unforgivable insult.
If Big Brother throws people out for racism, why don’t they do something about these housemates poking fun at Deaf and Blind people, like they don’t deserve a ‘good’ man and would have to settle for someone like Sree… not that Sree doesn’t deserve a lover, but in Cairon’s eyes, he clearly thinks people with disabilities should only be with (what he see’s as) second rate citizens.
So, tell me what you think, Sree is annoying yes, but are Marcus, Cairon and Siavash taking it way too far and just being bullies?

Hi, yes I agree that Marcus was quite harsh on Sree! As much as I think Sree gives me a bit of the creeps following Noirin about at the same time I feel he is just still a bit immature? and doesnt really get it yet? I think he is innocent- he is just being a silly boy & thinks by declaring his undying love for Noirin that she is his!! But he doesnt deserve to be bullied like that at all!

i don’t think they were poking fun at deaf and blind people, just that sree would have to find a deaf person because they couldn’t hear his annoyingness, or a blind person so they couldn’t see how creepily he stares.

Sree is SCARY!! Weird, creepy, annoying, idiotic, freaky. Definitely NOT a sweetie. There wasn’t a tear in sight when he was ‘crying’ to Lisa in the garden!! Marcus was right in telling him off – he has the attention span of a gnat, and needed bringing into line. We didn’t see all of what went on there and I’m sure there was more to it than what we did see. Why the hell Noirin doesn’t just tell him to f— off and leave her alone, I don’t know. She’s obviously getting fed up of him always hovering around her and demanding hugs and kisses all the time!! Just TELL HIM girl!!! Can’t wait for him to be up for eviction, so that I can vote for him to go!

I personally think Marcus is a complete “arsehole” and am astounded that he was ever selected for the house. How he sees himself as cool is totally beyond me. He is just an ignorant cretin and should not be there.

Sorry people but Norin told him in no uncertain terms that they would only ever be friemds, and now she has to hide from his advances in the company of marcus because she knows that shree wont go near him ( and who’d blame him ). Believe me she would much rather be out with all the other housemates haveing fun, than trying to avoid the unwelcome advances of a sad spitefull little boy
