With Jim Carrey in the lead role A Christmas Carol brought some festive cheer to the Cannes Film Festival last night as the south of France welcomed Christmas early.
An animated retelling of Charles Dickens classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.
Jim Carrey plays four separate roles in this updated version of A Christmas Carol. Carrey portrays Scrooge, as well as the three ghosts (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come).
The movie will reach screen in November but take a look at the poster and first image from the film.
