Katie Price’s Piers Morgan Interview: Pete Isn’t Happy, But What Do You Think? July 14, 2009

Now, many people questioned Katie and Peter’s relationship from the start, but after Katie came across as cold and unaffected in her interview with hard-hitting journalist Piers last week it seems their doubts may be confirmed.
Personally, I found the whole thing really annoying because, I’ve never been married, but after breaking up with an ex-boyfriend I was with for just a year and half, I cried for about 3 months afterwards…
So, if I’d been married and had children with a fella, there is no way I could come across as so uncaring and heartless in an interview. Although people are saying she put on the ‘Jordan’ front, I think if her answers hadn’t come across as scripted then we might have believed her.
The only crack in her armour was when she dropped the bombshell that she and Pete had lost a baby just before the split, and that Pete had dumped her whilst she was recovering from running a marathon whilst battling with the pain of losing a child.
However, Peter isn’t going to let Katie pain him as the bad guy, and has ranted to told New! Magazine; “By revealing all about the baby we lost, Kate went against everything we said we’d never do. The miscarriage was a devastating time for us both, but I strongly believe it should have remained private. Unfortunately, what Kate says is out of my control. I can’t control what other people do. I can only control what comes out of my mouth.”

I feel for them both but regarding the comment Pete made about her revealing the miscarriage went against every they said they would never do – I’m sure when they agreed that Katie never believed her husband would be dumping her in the next couple of weeks!! This was an agreement made surely on the assumption that they would be together as a couple, grieving together!
I haven’t sided with either as Katie said neither of them are innocent, she is not the devil but Pete is no angel either!

I have just watched both the interview and K&P stateside (the one on the marathon), and it is desrepancies in Katies story that illustartes how anything she says cannot be believed. In the interview she told the story of loosing a baby and said she was bleeding up to to and during the marathon. And yet in her stateside programme she admitted to not wearing any knickers when going for a massage, 16 hours before the marathon. This does not seem to be the actions of a woman that has just had a termination and contradicts her account to Piers Morgan.
Absolutely agree, Pete is not squeaky clean, he has walked out on his wife and kids when they needed him most. Think he is in cuckoo land if he thinks he is going to beat Katie, she has proved herself as an astute business woman.
everyone has mentioned Peter leaving Katie just after they split but when was the “right time” to do it? Should he have waited 6 weeks or mabey 6 months? once a relationship has broken down like that there is no fixing! hwta about the pictures of her in the paper flaunting her body? she wasnt thinking about her baby then! she was just using him anyway, celebrities these days use kids as some sort of money maker, its fashionable to have a bunch of kids whether you look after them or not!
I think Pete done the right thing, Katies is so up her own *** she will never find a respectable, loving, family man like him he done the right thing, i would’nt want my son to end up with anything like that! she is sooo self centred and nasty i hope he gets custody of the kids, a real slap in the face!!!

They are still in love. GEt back together for sake of kids. Peter need to wake up and sort out with Kaite. Katie denies she hasnt affair with Andrew Goulld. Peter need to respect her and trust. Peter need grown up and sit down to talk with Katie to sort out the difference. I am so sick to read newspapers every day about them two. They are still in love. This interview was so false…If he dumped her as she says, and she was apparently devastated, then how come she is over it so soon…She was as false as her implants !!!

Come early to mid 2010, expect a kiss and make up, where they renew their vows on public TV (probably live) and launch in to their new reality show called Peter and Katie, together forever and Morgan get’s a little kick back for his a$$itance
And K&P will become a pillar of society as couples on the brink of the divorce around the world will turn to each other and say, “Well my dearest, if Peter and Katie can pull through, so can we!” and divorce rate will be at a new time low.

poor Pete- Katie is a heartless coward. She only cares about herself. If she cared for her children, she wouldn’t be so appalling in the interview she gave with Piers- what kind of mother acts in this way and does it make her appear to be a good mother? certainly not. She is irresponsible and is a bad role model for her kids. she even admitted Pete is a good father- well let the kids stay with him- why should he have this woman in his life- moving on so suddenly. she is as cold as ice- and you could see Pete really loved her but she must have been fake all along. how else can a person get over someone so quickly, unless they never really loved them?! Pete was the best thing that happened to her. now she’ll just get old, media will lose interest in her, and she’ll realise what a sad lonely woman she is.
If Jordan was so cut up about losing the baby and Peter, why was she out shagging the first bloke to cross her path after the split. She always was and always will be a chavvy slut. The best thing to come out of their marriage is the kids, Peter can do so much better than Jordan, believe me, i’ve met her she’s a complete bitch and without her make-up she’s ugly. I have always admired Katie and been inspired by her self made fame and wealth and strength to deal with her work and family however i agree with Ade who watched both the interview and stateside (when she ran the marathon) and there are many discrepancies in her interview and how she was seen in Stateside (refer to Ade 14/07/09). She is obviously very bitter about many aspects of her life at the moment but she did herself few favours by appearing so unnafected by the split and taking little responsibility for her behaviour and her part to play in the split.
in the beginning when they met on the reality tv programme he was all lusted up with her and any relationship built on foundations of lust will in time crumble when real life problems get in the way.

Aside from the fact that Katie giving that ‘exclusive’ interview, like she’s Lady Diana winds me up in the first place, I said right at the begining of the programme, I bet she is completely hard line at first at will show she doesn’t care, because she seems to need to appear unbreakable and is I suspect still trying to get one up on Pete, but, she will cry at the end of the interview.
A publicist would never advise her to go on tv and behave so heartlessly otherwise – she was almost robotic in her denial.
So regardless of who did wrong or what happened, the major factor to consider now is the children and Katie, in my opinion, through all her cavorting around and trying to show Pete she is over him, has created an image for herself that will lose her custody of them – A fact she seems not to have considered.
Katie’s public persona has come across as callous, vindictive and [insert appropriate wild, party girl terminology here].
Pete on the other hand has crafted a quiet respectful, responsible, doting father persona for himself.

For the record, my wife has loved watching the whole charade. I think it’s car crash TV at it’s very worst. BUT, I must say that if pressed on it, Peter makes ten of Jordan. She is one complete joke but realises the public are f***ing stupid. Heat and Closer will want that to continue………………
Pete and Katie used each other to get where they are.
When Pete “fell in love” with Jordan she was a has-been glamour model who had something about her. Since then she has become self obsessed and ruined her natural looks with botox, filler, more breat surgery, dental work and rhinoplasty (not to mention what she’s had done down below). She’s getting to look more and more like Janice Dickinson by the day.
She had us all fooled for a few years when Claire from CAN Associates was her manager and told her what to wear, how to behave and what to say. Now they’ve parted company Katie has revealed herself as the thicko, attention seeking idiot she is.
Pete’s not much better altough he does seem to be a doting father.
Having said all that about Katie, there’s nothing wrong with the way she is. If she worked in the local Spa, she’d be a great and funny person to know but she’s a celebrity. That is what’s wrong. She has no talent except for her assets that money can buy for any girl. If a girl like Katie had brains, class, dignity and was 25 she would rule the world.
As for her interview with Piers, it was stiff, self conscious and boring. I was very disappointed. Couldn’t be bothered to watch it all. When she disclosed her miscarriage (or was it a termination???) she seemed to be more bothered about whether or not she could still run the mararthon! (in which she walked a lot anyway – bad knee etc). She needed to raise the money for the charity didn’t she. Well, she could have gone to bed to recover and dipped her hand into her own pocket – but, no, she had to be a dramatic diva for the cameras, hobblimg around on her “bad” knee.
Their fly on the wall documentory was obviously not so reality TV, as the pregnancy would have been revealed on it. We’ve been conned again. Why wasn’t the marriage guidance covered either?
Pete’s song lyrics now seem so relevant even though they were penned moths ago when we saw him declaring “I love you so much Katie” on ITV2 so recently!

They are as bad as each other. She is NUTS for a start, stating when she has one drink she wants to always take her clothes off, doesn’t matter where??? She is totally RUBBISH. Glad Pete left her. She is so false and doesn’t give a damn about anyone but herself. She loves herself to death. She is FAKE all over in body and mind!! Who cares there are more important things in life to worry about than Kate and Pete???? Get a life!!

Sorry Jessica, could you repeat that in English please. On the other hand, if you are saying what I think you are, don’t bother! I think their relationship would have been fine if they had dated for a ‘proper’ period of time and got to know each other better. They should also have agreed on how much of their lives would be public. The impression i get is that Katie ‘told’ Peter how things were going to be and he went along with them either a) because he loved her or b) he was scared of her. A short while back, since the split, I spent some time at an event Peter was at with his kids. There is nothing false or staged at all about his feelings for the children. Their were cameras at the event and some pictures appeared in the papers along with comments about him courting publicity. I am 110% certain that was untrue.
I love reality tv…but am ashamed of my fascination, Katie and Peter were clearly in love at the begining but their relationship degenerated in front of our eyes as we all watched transfixed.car crash tv, rubber necking and gossiping..I truly think they were very very bad for one another and can be as bad as each other.. yet Pete has better discretion and manners thus is not vilified like Katie is, to be blunt he has more self control and is more manipulative and its is very plausible. As for oh he is a good dad ah how lovely…he is a dad for goodness sake he is meant to be good to his kids! Also his timing in dumping katie was rather convinient, straight after last in series, so no contracted tv for us to watch…he knew if he dumped her when they were still filming Katie would have had a commitment to talk to the cameras.Also as Ibiza was booked he knew she would be behaving badly soon after the break up he set her up he is clearly very intelligent hence the business acumen and the frustration he showed with Katie for being less refined proved he was losing respect for her also his sly digs and off camera behavour are as him setting her up…well done Pete you almost had me fooled!!
