Could Chris Brown and Rihanna be loved up again? The pair have been spotted sneaking in and out of the same New York Hotel at the weekend.. despite the fact that Chris was banned from being anywhere near his ex… Oh Rihanna, don’t do it love!
Peter Andre’s side of the bed has hardly had enough time to go cold and Katie Price has already shacked up with another bloke… who is still in a relationship with someone else… Oh dear!
My new celebrity best mate is none other than Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt after we’ve had a good old chinwag about dance, life and of course, the uncertain future of the Pussycat Dolls after that Jai Ho cover….
What is it with musicians and spending their money on ridiculous things? Well now she’s got a bit of stardust in her hair, La Roux singer Elly Jackson is reportedly considering insuring her trademark quiff.
Leann Rimes has broken her silence over rumours she has split from husband Dean Sheremet – telling gig-goers in Utah she is nursing a “broken heart”. Unfortunately, people who cheat don’t get any sympathy from us…
It seems that times are a changing in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean as the production on the fourth film will be much smaller than the previous movies. Who really cares about the epicness of the movie just get Johnny back to the role we all love him for, that’s all anyone is really interested in!

Texting: To Kiss Or Not To Kiss…? July 27, 2009
Posted by Ruth in : Ruth's Ramblings , 1 comment so farIt has come to our attention at FemaleFirst HQ that many of you are confused as to how many kisses you should put on a text / email to a certain person… but now I think it’s time to end all this bewilderment.
Personally I put kisses on everything, texts and emails, even if it’s to someone I don’t know or have just been working on an article with, primarily because I think it makes it sound nicer, but our wonderful I.T guy seems to think that you should only put kisses if you would actually kiss them…
Now, do you reckon this is just because he’s a bloke and he doesn’t understand how us lady folk read into kisses as carrying subliminal messages, or do you think we’re just be hyper-sensitive about the whole shebang?
So, after a poll, or actually me just telling everyone what I think, here are what we reckon your boy shape or lady friend is trying to tell you via SMS….
0 Kiss – Oh dear, you’ve really pissed someone off now, no kisses clearly means you’re on a red card.
1 Kiss – Okay, so you’re not in as much trouble as you could be, but the SMS sender clearly has no desire to be in your company at the moment.
2 Kisses – Two kisses is a good balance, it’s the amount you put to your friends or someone when you’re complacent and everything is as it should be.
3 Kisses – Usually when a foxy boy shape is concerned, three kisses come out to send a message of; ‘Yes I’m interested in you, send three kisses back or you’ll break my heart’
4 or more kisses – Woo, kissing frenzy! I hope you popped some extra fresh mint in because the person who sent you this clearly wants these kisses to be turned into reality.

Michael Jackson: Still Alive or Dead for Years? July 27, 2009

Is he Really Dead?
Michael Jackson may actually still be alive- well that’s my conspiracy theory and here’s why….
After watching the footage from the press conference to announce his 02 gigs in London several times over the last few weeks, I really don’t think it was him at all!
There’s something about the way Michael looks and more importantly his mannerisms that doesn’t seem quite right. I don’t profess to be an MJ expert but I have watched interviews of him on TV several times and he usually comes accross shy and timid. However there is something arrogant and swagger-like about his movements and gestures at the 02, which I have never noticed about Michael before.
It sounds ridiculous, I know, but just watch the video below and make up your own mind……..
Do you see? Or am I just going mad?
Anyway, my theory is that either one of two things happened to Michael……. 1.) He died a while ago and the o2 gigs were never actually going to happen anyway. 2.) The King of Pop is still alive and just wanted to live a life of privacy on a remote island somewhere he will never be found. Obviously this is all speculation and I would like to point out that it is no way based on fact, just personal opinion….so don’t send the lawyers knocking!

An animated retelling of Charles Dickens classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.
Jim Carrey plays four separate roles in this updated version of A Christmas Carol. Carrey portrays Scrooge, as well as the three ghosts (Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come).
The movie will reach screen in November but take a look at the poster and first image from the film.

Uh-oh, Katie Price might have thought he was getting one over on her ex by inferring he’d cheated on her, but it seems Pete’s having the last laugh now that he’s threatening to sue.
Finally a solution to every woman’s biggest body hang up has arrived as cellulite-busting knickers hit the shelves. The launch of the miracle pants sparked chaos at John Lewis stores as desperate women fought their way to the shelves.
Looks like it could be curtains for my future husband Alex James’ band Blur after they have confessed that they have no plans to head back into the studio or perform any more live shows. Well, at least when Alex meets (and falls in love with) me, his life will be worthwhile…

Music & Tattoos: A Match Made In Heaven? July 24, 2009

Whilst many band frontmen are etched in colour from head to foot, it’s only recently that women have started following suit, with Kat Von D proving that you can be beautiful, cool and tattooed, without looking like a tramp.
I mean, I’ve got to admit, I’ve got a couple of designs, and my ‘type’ of guy is usually one with a long ‘emo’ haircut, musical instrument and lots of tattoos, but as rock music becomes more fashionable, is body art becoming an essential accessory?
Let’s face it, when Funeral For A Friend were in their heyday, you couldn’t even be considered a fan without black skinny fit jeans and a can of hairspray on your head and now that screamo / metal / hardcore bands (or whatever label they fancy this week) are finding prominence, are the singers trying to out-ink each other?
Take Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes or legendary drummer Travis Barker for example, they have more designs on their bodies than a child’s colouring book, and as kids admire these guys, they think the ink will make them like their heroes.
What’s more, now that so many music fans get band logos, lyrics or other tributes to their idols permanently added to their skin it’s even caused the band, 69 Eyes to pay homage to ‘dedicated’ fans in their “Dead Girls Are Easy” video, which features a number of people with the symbol tattooed for all to see.
But do you think these kids will grow up to regret getting tattoos just for show, rather than having one that really means something to them? I mean, I see so many people walking around with dolphins on their shoulder as that was the ‘in’ thing back in the nineties.
After debating this with my friend, he said to me; “So what if you regret it when you’re old, you love it now and you will enjoy looking at it for more years than you will dislike it… so do it!”
Better book in for a full sleeve then… or just find a nice boy with one that I can look at on a day-to-day basis!
