Here we were thinking that Peter Andre wouldn’t sink to the same level as ex wife Katie Price, but oh, how wrong we were.. Yep, the pop star has branding his ex as “distinctly average.â€Â
Now quite what connotations that tag is supposed to carry we do not know, because I certainly wouldn’t have married someone if I saw them as just ‘average,’ but as he used the quote as ammunition during an interview about his pop comeback, I begin to wonder if he should perhaps focus on talking about the music?
So, let’s face it, we know everyone wants to ask Pete about the split, but if he wants to prove himself as a mature singer and not that cheesy Mysterious Girl singer, then I am inclined to think he should let Katie dig her own grave, and be the bigger person by ignoring her jibes.
He is quoted in the Daily Star as saying; “There’s a song on my album that’s about a glamour model, mentioning no names, but if you strip away all the fake hair, nail extensions, all the artificial gloss and glamour, there’s something distinctly average,”
The only thing that’s worrying me, is that we saw Pete picking the songs for his album on Katie & Peter The Next Chapter: Stateside, so surely, he wrote that when they were still ‘in love’?
What do you guys think? I mean, I’m behind Pete, but he should really take the high ground.

If “Jordan” is determined to be “Katie Price” she is going to have to try an awful lot harder than she is at the moment. I’m sure if Peter Andre actually made the “distinctly average” quote he is probably right. Why else would anyone spend so much time, money and effort on looking so fake and plastic unless the true image is not up to much. At the moment she is looking and acting like a cheap tart. I don’t know anyone who is backing Jordan in this campaign.
I think Katie Price has worked hard to be where she is doesnt matter whether we the public like it or not she is doing it to have the money for her kids if that isnt love then I dont know what is ….she never pretended to be anything else she is an extrovert show off glamour model who loves to be in the centre … she went out got a bit wild and drunk to have a break from being a mum etc Peter Andre is a bit naiive and he is insecure and doesnt seem to know much about women …he needs to grow up and act like a gentleman if he wants her to be a complete lady and encourage her not to go to extremes with the booze maybe a bit more support in the kids department etc …she needs an outlet it s so obvious ….life can be so so restrictive most people need to let their hair down she did that and he walked out because he couldnt handle it ……..its a silly reason to get divorced or split up and he as a man is shameful leaving a woman with his children that he created ….have a spine Peter fight for your marriage in a dignified way and stop telling her what to do or not to do .respect her support her and dont criticise so much …in marriage it never works when people are bossy golden rule number one ! She is moving on and she will continue to have a wild time maybe she needs a man that doesnt find that a threat and after all she asked him to go with her …doesnt that say everthing about his attitude and if he had gone out that night things might be very different ….its sad really
campaign? its not a campaign, its not something you can vote for. it is too people splitting up and divorcing. we have no right to ‘back’ any off these two people, we should honestly just leave them too it. they are both dealing with it in their own ways petes turning to music and katie is turning to letting her hair down. stop critizing her, im sure if a normal-uncelebrity would not get slammed as much is she is if they went out and let their hair down through a diviorce. its just typical that we feel that we have to take sides on something that is nothing to do with us and our thoughts and opinions are not going to make it easy for them of their children. katie and peter have always told us not to believe the newspapaers when they were together, they talk crap. why should we start believeing all the stupid gossip once they split up?
Katie price is ‘average’ if you look at th pictures from years ago before she turned fake she was just an average looking woman the only reason she got so far in her career if thats what you call it is because she got bigger boobs and posed topless thats how she got famous and if you think about it before she went into celebrity get me out of here yes everyone new who she was but she wasnt getting the publicity as much as she has now.
And so what if pete has now got his fame and fortune back since being with kate its not down to her for him getting it back it being in the public eye and to be honest he deserves to get something out of the relationship sh was a bitch anyway. im with pete all the way xxx
Way to go Pat, you are so right, Now who’s the villain, was it that she was that famous and the press were all over her that Pete fell in love with, the perfect way to get your career back on track. Kate, don’t worry anyone who is truly supporting you will easily see through him. So fed up with ‘Saint Peter’ and his ‘it’s all about the kids’ line.
If it was all about the kids then he’d put aside his personal feelings about Kate and actually speak to his childrens Mother instead of ‘exchanging’ them in silence or going through Nanny’s.
Take it from one who knows Pete, the only ones that will suffer because you can’t bear to communicate with Kate, are your children.
Yeah, seems to me Peter had already fallen out of love with Jordan whilst they were still in America. I wish they could both try to be dignified for the kids but when you’re hurting…..
