You know you start to get in trouble at work and you realise you really need to pull out all the stops to get back in the boss’ good books? Well I think murdering people is probably not at the top of your list.
To be honest, I can see why Brazilian crime watch presenter (and popular MP!) Wallace Souza would think of killing people to boost ratings on his daily crime show… because what would crime watch be without, um, crime? But come on mate, you could have just made things a bit more fun?
This all came about because Wallace and Co always seemed to arrive at the ‘right place at the right time’ whenever some grizzly murder had gone down, so obviously, local police smelled a rat, and decided to go for a nosy around his home.
Shockingly, when the police called round, they discovered £90,000 in cash, various weapons and the names of four recently murdered men scribbled down on a piece of paper, all inferring that he’d been paying hitmen to carry out assassinations!
So, the presenter and member of Parliament might even be able to look forward to his own Crimewatch special after it’s even been alleged that his son Raphael may have carried out some of the killings, before tipping off dad so he and his camera crew could be the first to arrive at the crime scenes, thus getting loads of graphic footage.
Whilst 50 year-old Souza denies he is involved in anything untoward and claims he is the victim of a “plot†against him, a former police officer, Moacir Jorge da Costa, claimed he carried out one of the murders and Souza’s son Raphael, was arrested and is currently in prison facing charges of homicide, drug trafficking and illegal gun possession.
Crikey! What people will do to make sure they stay in a job…. Personally we can’t see Kirsty Young doing anything like this…
