Biffy Clyro have been one of my favourite bands since about 2003, so the news of their latest release has filled my life with sunshine and joy for the past week, well, that was until I saw this HORRIFIC picture of Simon Neil.
Okay, so once you watch the video for their new single The Captain, things become quite clear, but even so, it’s like the scene in Saving Private Ryan where my number one celebrity crush Giovanni Ribisi is dying and asking for his mum and morphine, I just have to skip it.
I don’t know what it is, but I feel attached already, and this picture almost made me vomit my chicken and bacon sandwich into my litter bin, perhaps it was some horrible ransom bloke who has kidnapped Mr Neil and wanted me to fork out £20 and a packet of starburst for his release?
Never fear though, it was just those folk over ar Biffy HQ proving to us just why Biffy Clyro are one of the best bands on the face of the planet. Fact.
