Ruth’s Thursday Flutter

Lady Gaga might be used getting a slating over her odd fashion choices by now, but it seems that her whole ensemble at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday might have landed her in deep water with a concerned charity.

Oh my, Katie Price never fails to astound us! She’s only gone and rang The Wright Stuff yesterday to kick off about the host discussing the topic; “Should raped stars go to the police before they go to the papers?” Katie reckons we shouldn’t be talking about it, but to be honest, we reckon that telling a national magazine that you were raped is going to get tongues wagging.

Venice Film Festival has once again slightly gone under the radar and been overshadowed by Toronto, which is currently in full swing. And while they are yet to uncover a little gem like Slumdog Millionaire there are a string of performances that could be battling it out at next year’s Oscars, yes we are talking about Oscars already.

Together Whoopi Goldberg and Patrick Swayze were one of movie’s best double acts in 1990′s Ghost. The Oscar winning star remembers her friend and popular actor after his death from cancer and thanks him for her Academy Award.

About Ruth

Word up! I am the music editor at FemaleFirst.co.uk. My favourite bands are Nightwish, Biffy Clyro and A Day To Remember. I do have rather biglove for the Now Thats What I Call Music CD's though. Katie Price annoys me but I love how she's made a name for herself by being annoying. That takes some work.
