Sugababes Split Again….Spot the Problem Yet? September 21, 2009

The Sugababe’s have more line ups than Scotland Yard and with the news today that Amelle is set to leave the group to be replaced by yet another new member, I can’t help but point out the one constant in all the band’s problems…….Keisha!

Amelle Berrabah is just the latest in a growing line of talented- and good looking- singers to hit the skids after a ‘disagreement’ with the only remaining original member.

When the band were first formed in 1998 Keisha hit the stage alongside Mutya Buena and original lead singer Siobhan Donaghy. Shortly after they broke the charts Siobhan left after reports of in-fighting. She was quickly replaced by Heidi and no more was said.

Things seemed calm for a few years, until 2006, when Mutya suddenly decided she wanted to leave the group despite their growing fame. At the time Mutya claimed it was purely based on personal reasons and that the girls would all remain friends. However rumours had also been flying around about Mutya’s starined relationship with feisty Keisha and since then the girls have reportedly lost touch….hmmmmmm I wonder.

And now, after weeks of headlines about fallings out and confrontations with Keisha and a mysterious disappearance Amelle seems to be the latest Sugababe evictee.

Inside sources are constantly claiming that Keisha is difficult to work with and jealous of anyone better looking or more talented than her….but does she really have the power to force three people out of the band?

Keisha spoke out on Twitter saying; “They see me as the longest standing member and assume that I’m the b**ch who causes people to walk, and its totally untrue and unfair. All I’ve ever done is work my a**e off, trying to keep the dream alive, because I love the fans and my job.”

And let’s not forget that after reportedly smashing up cars and having connections with dodgy traveller families, Amelle is no wall flower!
