You’ll NEVER Guess What Katie Price’s Done Now… September 16, 2009
Posted by Ruth in : Ruth's Ramblings, TV , trackbackEarlier today I told you that Katie Price had claimed that she was raped by a fellow celebrity, and I am pretty much everyone else is starting to wonder if it’s all a bit of a publicity stunt now that Peter Andre has denied the claim.
Okay, so if you were pissed off that people were talking abut you what would you do, oh, I know, lets ring a TV show and have a moan about this ‘unidentified’ rapist to the man who accidentally revealed that it was John Leslie who was accused of raping Ulrika Jonsson.
WELL…. Katie Price has only gone and rang into a live TV show today to defend herself over her rape claims and said she will NEVER name her attacker. Err, alright Katie, no need to get your thong in a twist.
Anyway, the 30-year-old gave Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff a bell this morning after watching the panel debate her decision to say she had been sexually assaulted by a celebrity.
Rambling on at host Matthew Wright, Katie said she was livid at the claims that it could all be a publicity stunt, and said that the only reason she mentioned it was to defend her new boyfriend Alex Reid, who is accused of simulated rape in a film shoot.
She told the show, and all the viewers (well those who hadn’t wandered off to make a cuppa at the mere sound of her voice) “I’m sitting here watching the programme – we’re all here doing a shoot. I haven’t just come out and said I got raped, I was actually sticking up for Alex. It come out in the newspapers that he was doing this rape thing and I stuck up for him in my OK column. I would never do something like that for sympathy.
“It has all got out of context, I think it is really out of order to say I would do it for sympathy I would never do that.“ oh yeah Katie, we’re sure you wouldn’t love, just like you ‘accidentally’ blurted out that you had a miscarriage during you Piers Morgan interview… remember that?
And what really takes the biscuit is when she said; ‘I am absolutely livid. I have mentioned it in my column, then I did a shoot with the kids and the press have gone on and on about it. I don’t make a joke about it – it is a serious matter. I woke up this morning and it’s over the front of the newspapers.”
I want to shout here, but I can’t obviously, but Katie it’s YOU who have fed the media, firstly claiming to have been raped, then once that died down, ‘revealing’ that is was a celebrity. And if you were on the cover instead of Patrick Swayze, I can promise you this, I won’t be buying that paper again.
What’s more, when asked whether she would go to the police, she replied: ‘It happened absolutely years ago and like anyone, it’s just a hard thing to do. It’s been done now, what do you do? I would say if something happens you should go to the police. It was definitely rape – I didn’t consent to it.’ OH.MY.GOD. As if she even has to clarify that is wasn’t consensual sex.
When asked if she could elaborate on who it was who raped her, Katie refused, and bizarrely went on to say that; “Well really, I haven’t slept with that many people, it’s just the papers make out that I had. It happened absolutely years ago before Pete.” Err, you haven’t slept with that many people? Katie, you do know that people who have slept with no people or 1,000 people can still get raped, there isn’t some kind of checklist for victims.
Is anyone else wanting to bash their head against the desk right now?

Has Katie Price gone completely mad! Her behaviour is becoming more and more bizarre every day.
This woman is digging a massive great hole for herself that she will never be able to climb out of. She seems to be having some sort of massive tantrum since Pete left her. and it is just getting worse and worse! Where will it all end?
Only at what you had to say. Clearly you don’t like the woman and have got your Poor Peter axe to grind. I’m not even a Pro-Price, but you’re just nasty.

if i was katie and i felt that people were taking a pick at me, i would have phoned the show wanted to have my say aswell! and people need to understand that some of us are just impulsive, i am myself! but better to be that way, say what you are thinking than hold it, build it up and end up doing something harmful! I think everyone needs to give Katie a break….she has had her had broken and we all deal with thing’s in different ways! What she need’s right now is support not slandering!
