Talk about cashing in on Michael Jackson’s death, his brother Jermaine is only planning to judge a TV talent show featuring contestants trying to dance like the late King of Pop.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Michael Jackson was a legend, but isn’t it about time we let him rest in peace now instead of dragging out the loss for all it’s worth? To be honest, I’m getting so tired of hearing how the family want to do this, that and the other now that it’s making me quite bitter.
When someone dies we all want to remember them for as long as possible right? But I can’t ever remember Jermaine doing anything for his brother when he was alive, so why is he taking up every offer going at the moment?
The show, Move Like Michael Jackson, will travel across Britain searching for people who can master Jackson’s iconic Moonwalk and create new steps, and Jermaine has been warbling on about it all by saying; “Michael was a superb dancer who inspired people across the world to master his moves and create their own unique routines. I’m really excited and delighted to be part of this show and look forward to finding the most talented and inspiring dancers.”
So, will you be auditioning, or are you like me, and wondering why the likes of Farrah Fawcett, Patrick Swayze and DJ Adam Goldstein aren’t getting their own TV shows or having their family in the news every day? Maybe it’s because they don’t want to drag out the death until they’re blue in the face, or maybe they just don’t want to blag themselves A-List celebrity status?

Simply because they are not huge as MJ. There is no one bigger than MJ in the world of entertainment.
Michael was indeed the greatest entertainer the world has ever known, but I agree that his family is trying to milk his name for every penny they can get. Don’t they have enough already? They are a bunch of greedy individuals who never earned a dime themselves and have lived off Michael most of their lives. Joe, Jermaine, and LaToya are the worst! The only family member I have seen show any class whatsoever is Janet, and that’s because she has her own career and money.
I think it sounds like fun, the fact that people are out there dancing is fun..how much money could they possibly be making off it ?..not huge amounts. It is better than being stuck in the house… and if someone gets some recognition for their dancing skills so be it, we are in a recession people need hope…..lets not even bring up how long people have been doing Elvis Tributes…..
Their everywere because people want to see them and know how their doing.. how the hell could you compare *no disrepect* FAwcett , swayze etc. to MIcHAel Jackson(The biggest thing this world has ever seen)why would they need to have a tv show..
ANd then Mike ..The biggest contributer to Music, dance, entertainment, songwriting, humanitarian work.. please don’t go comparing anyone to a LEgend of his SIze.
WHithout him there wouldn’t be any GOOd music and we wouldn’t know the TAlent he has shown us.. ANd this world would be an even bigger shithole than it already is with all this racism and wars.
MJ was the most gifted of entertainers, the KING of POP! If the family want to do anything for his memory, then let the fans be and let them remember him as he was, brilliant singer, fantastic dancer and a carer of the people.
To try and ‘cash in’ on his memory would be disastrous for his closet family.
They don’t want to see look alikes, wannabe’s, leave it alone!
The Jackson family have their own style of music.
They all have their own means of money and security if they want more, let them go out and work for it just as Michael did!
Michael Jackson was a really great singer. I like his songs and the way he tries to influent the fans. He is the only one and i thin people won’t forget him the next 1.000 years!
