You know that Oscar season is upon us when the biopic pictures start to appear and this year it’s Amelia Earhart that’s coming to the big screen.
Filmmaker Nira Nair has been quiet of late but returns with Hilary Swank, who could get her third Oscar, in the title role.
A look at the life of legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 in an attempt to make a flight around the world.
Swank is joined by Richard Gere, Christopher Eccleston and Ewan McGregor.
